Wymondley Remembers
Remembrance Day Assembly 2020
To mark the occasion of Armistice Day today, we held our first whole school assembly of the school year. All classes were socially distanced and we gathered, one class at a time, for an outdoor assembly at 10:50am. Following a brief discussion around the significance of this day and a reading of In Flanders Fields, the Last Post was played beautifully by one of our talented children on a trumpet. The two minutes silence that followed was observed respectfully by all - even our little Puffins did a terrific job! If you would like to listen to the Last Post for yourself, you can do so by clicking here.
We will remember them.
