Reflections on the week at school...

Good afternoon Parents and Carers,

This morning's Celebration and Sharing assembly was a great way to bring the week to a close and was all the better for the parents, carers and family members who were able to join us. We heard all about the Three Little Pigs, mathematical compliments, the Great Fire of London and we heard from our peer mediators about the success of the peer mediation sessions currently taking place at break and lunchtimes. Hearing all about the range of learning that has been taking place across the school is always a good way to end the week!

Looking ahead to next week, which will be the final one of the half term, it is fair to say that it promises to be a very busy one! Parent teacher consultations will be running throughout the week. Please click here to book an appointment.

We will be marking Children's Mental Health Week throughout the week with different class based and whole school events, as well as a non uniform day on Friday, as advised earlier this week.

Finally, in addition to all of this, we will be focusing on how children are accessing the internet, from the many different apps and websites they are accessing to the many different devices that provide access to the internet that exist in homes across the country. There will be two separate assemblies, one for the lower half of the school and one for the upper half of the school where we will be tackling the incredibly important issue of how to stay safe online. It is more important now than ever before that every child is taught how to stay safe online and for further information on why this is so important and what keeping safe online actually means, please click here to watch a very short video.

I wish you all a relaxing and enjoyable weekend ahead!
