Class 1 Litter Picking
Following a comment that had been made by one of our Class 1 children about the amount of rubbish that she had noticed in Little Wymondley on her way into school, the staff and children of Class 1 decided to do something about it. After consulting with our school Eco-Committee, the decision was taken to organise a litter picking trip around the village and I am pleased to be able to say that the children did a fantastic job and learnt a lot in the process. They all seemed to thoroughly enjoy using the litter pickers and performed a great deed for the village as well.
Well done Class 1! You are a great example of how we should all play our part in looking after our local environment.
