Our World book Day celebrations on Wednesday were enjoyed by all the children and staff. It was lovely to see so many parents coming in to join us in the morning and with different book activities taking place in every classroom there seemed to be something for everyone to enjoy.
The day ended with a well timed bedtime story session. The school hall was transformed into a giant comfy reading area for all of the children in their pyjamas, onesies and dressing gowns to relax and enjoy some bedtime stories with milk and cookies; a lovely way to end a very enjoyable day that rightly highlighted just how much we enjoy reading at Wymondley School.
We hope the children enjoy spending their book voucher on a new book to read to round off a wonderful week.
